Dennis Seichter

Dennis Seichter is a Senior Manager at Mercedes-Benz AG, leading production planning for powertrain technology development, automation, and controls since June 2009. With a strong background in manufacturing technology, Dennis oversees a department of approximately 125 FTEs, focusing on all new powertrain projects, including battery and electric drive units. Previously, Dennis served as Senior Manager of the Bodyshop technology and strategy department, where responsibilities included developing advanced joining technologies and aligning manufacturing strategies across the body and paint shop. Dennis's career at Mercedes-Benz also encompasses various managerial roles in program management, product planning, and design for manufacturing, alongside earlier experiences as an expat at Mercedes-Benz U.S. International and internships at Deutsche Bahn, Siemens VDO, and LuK USA. Dennis holds a Dipl.-Ing. in Mechanical Engineering from the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology and has studied at Purdue University.
