Dr. Ulf Zillig currently serves as Vice President for Group Research, Sustainability & RD Functions at Mercedes-Benz AG since January 2022. Prior to this role, Dr. Zillig held several leadership positions at Mercedes-Benz AG from 1998 to 2021, including Vice President and Head of Development and Product Engineering for Mercedes-Benz Vans, as well as Director of the Sprinter project. Other notable roles included Senior Manager positions in strategy, lifecycle management, and development controlling. Dr. Zillig holds a Dr. sc. techn. ETH degree from ETH Zürich, completed postgraduate studies at the University of Oxford, and earned a Diplom-Ingenieur in Mechanical Engineering from the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology.
