Markus Schäfer

Markus Schäfer is, as of the end of Annual Meeting of Daimler AG on May 22, 2019, a Member of the Board of Management of Daimler AG. In this function, he is responsible for Development & Procurement and as of December 1, 2021 in addition Chief Technology Officer. In this function, he is responsible for the holistic development process of Mercedes-Benz Cars, as well as procurement. Markus Schäfer is also a member of the Board of Management of Mercedes-Benz AG.
