Prashant Deshpande

Prashant Deshpande has extensive experience in the field of taxation and accounting. Currently serving as Head of Taxation at Mercedes-Benz India Pvt. Ltd. since November 2021, Prashant has previously held the position of Manager - Corporate Taxation with the same company from August 2010 to February 2023. Prior experience includes roles as an Articled Clerk at S K Parekh and Co. from August 2006 to February 2023, and providing individual assignments in taxation consultancy. Prashant has also worked in tax advisory and auditing roles at various firms, gaining valuable insights into corporate and individual tax matters. With a strong educational background that includes CA Inter from the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India and dual Bachelor of Laws degrees from Savitribai Phule Pune University, Prashant Deshpande possesses a solid foundation in tax law and corporate taxation.
