Alexander Mathes

Alexander Mathes has extensive work experience in the security field, primarily in roles related to security situation management, travel security, and corporate security. Alexander has worked for Mercedes-Benz Malaysia since 2021 as the Head of Regional Security Office APAC. Prior to that, they worked for Daimler AG from 2008 to 2021, holding various positions such as Head of Security Situation Center, Executive Assistant to Director Corporate Security, and Project Manager.

Alexander Mathes has a M.Sc. degree in Security & Safety Management from Danube University Krems, which they obtained between 2013 and 2015. Prior to that, they earned a LL.B. degree in Economic Law from FernUniversität in Hagen between 2011 and 2013. In 2011, they also completed a program in Fire Prevention and Safety Technology/Technician at LFKS Rheinland-Pfalz. In 2008, they obtained the title of Meister für Schutz und Sicherheit from IHK Stuttgart, and from 2005 to 2007, they completed a program as a Fachkraft für Schutz und Sicherheit at IHK Ludwigshafen.
