Shahkera Esmailjee

Shahkera Esmailjee serves as the Chief Information Officer (CIO) for Mercedes-Benz South Africa, Middle East, and Egypt since July 2018. With a wealth of experience in the automotive industry, Shahkera has been with Mercedes Benz SA in the role of Manager IT Sales & Marketing and Services since January 2014, following a tenure as IT Manager at Daimler from August 2011 to December 2013. Prior to these roles, Shahkera gained valuable experience as an IT Consultant at Toyota SA from 1996 to 2003. Shahkera holds a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science from Wits University, completed from 1981 to 1985, and has a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) in Computer Science from Laudium High School.
