David Nelson

David Nelson has extensive experience in the automotive and motorsport industries, having worked at the Mercedes-AMG PETRONAS Formula One Team from January 2005 to January 2018 in various roles, including Performance Director, Senior Vehicle Dynamicist, and Performance Team Leader of the Vehicle Dynamics Group. Prior to this, David Nelson was a Senior Vehicle Dynamics Engineer and Crash Safety and Restraint Engineer at Holden from January 1997 to January 2004. David Nelson holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering and a Bachelor of Science in Applied Mathematics, both obtained from Monash University between January 1991 and December 1997.
