Juan Villalba

Juan Villalba is a highly skilled Composite Design Engineer with extensive experience in the automotive and motorsport industries. Currently working at Mercedes-AMG PETRONAS Formula One Team since June 2017, Juan has progressed through various engineering roles, including Senior Design Engineer, Design Engineer, and Aerodynamics Design Engineer. Prior experience includes a stint as Design Engineer in Bespoke Engineering at Rolls-Royce Motor Cars and mechanical design roles at ISTEC Services Ltd and UH Racing, where expertise in CAD software like CATIA V5 and SolidWorks, as well as strong competencies in component design, system integration, and project engineering, were demonstrated. Juan holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Automotive Engineering with Motorsport from the University of Hertfordshire and a BTEC National Diploma in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair Technologies from Kingston College.
