Mathew Encino

As Vice President, General Counsel, and Corporate Secretary of Mercer Advisors Inc. and its subsidiaries, Mathew manages the company's legal affairs, including mergers and acquisitions, litigation, employment, contracts, intellectual property, and corporate governance. In his role, Mathew advises the company's executive team and the directors of various departments, including Finance, Mergers & Acquisitions, Human Resources, Operations, Real Estate & Facilities, Information Technology, and Marketing.

Prior to joining Mercer Advisors, Mathew practiced corporate law in Houston, Texas, during which time he gained significant experience in both litigation and transactional work. During his time practicing at a law firm, he represented small, mid-market, and large businesses in a wide variety of matters, including forming and advising startups, contract negotiations, shareholder and contractual disputes before federal and state courts, administrative proceedings, and corporate restructuring. Mathew joined Mercer Advisors as Deputy General Counsel in the company's Houston office in May of 2017.

Originally from San Antonio, Texas, Mathew now resides in Denver, Colorado while still maintaining his loyalty to the San Antonio Spurs.
