Marvin Carter

Marvin A. Carter currently serves as the Director of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion at Mercer County Community College since June 2021. Prior experience includes roles as Associate Director of Intercultural Engagement and Inclusion at The College of New Jersey from November 2019 to April 2021, and Academic Advisor at Rutgers University–New Brunswick's Honors College from May 2018 to November 2019. Additionally, Marvin held positions as Resident Director at The College of New Jersey from July 2013 to May 2018, and Graduate Hall Director at Bloomsburg University from August 2011 to May 2013. Academic qualifications include a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Seton Hall University, an Education Specialist degree in Mental Health Counseling/Counselor from The College of New Jersey, and a Master’s of Education in Higher Education Administration and Counseling from Bloomsburg University of Pennsylvania.
