Tim Philbrick is an experienced aerospace engineer currently serving as a Principal Aerospace Engineer at Mercer Engineering Research Center since December 2013. In this role, Tim leads several Fixed Wing projects and develops prototype modifications and repairs, utilizing hand calculations and finite element analysis for structural assessments on aircraft such as the C-130, HH-60, and UH-1. Tim also has a background as a Base Support Engineer at US Airways, where responsibilities included designing and substantiating repairs for Airbus, Boeing, and Embraer aircraft. Tim earned a Bachelor of Science in Aerospace Engineering from North Carolina State University in 2009.
