Brittney Starks

Brittney Starks is an experienced educator and coach, currently serving as a 6th and 7th Language Arts and Social Studies Teacher at Mercer Island School District since August 2020. In addition to teaching, Brittney holds the position of Coach at Seattle Starz Lacrosse Club and has been an Assistant Lacrosse Coach and Head JV Volleyball Coach at Mercer Island High School since 2020. Brittney's background includes various roles in camp counseling and coaching, including experiences at The Colorado Mountain Ranch and Mount Vernon Volleyball Club. Educational accomplishments include a Bachelor of Special Studies in Social Studies Education, Sociology, and Secondary Education from Cornell College, completed in 2020. Additional early work experience spans positions in customer service and as a campus tour guide.
