Alexandra DeAngelis has a diverse work experience in the library, archive, and research fields. Alexandra has worked as a Head Librarian and Archivist at Mercer Museum & Fonthill Castle since 2023. Prior to that, they served as an Assistant Library Manager and Library Assistant at the same institution. Alexandra also worked as a Reference Assistant at Rutgers University–New Brunswick's Special Collections/University Archives in 2021. Alexandra has experience as an Assistant Collections Development Librarian at Lambertville Free Public Library and as a Graduate Assistant at Rutgers University–New Brunswick's University Archives. Alexandra has also worked as an Audiovisual Digitization Specialist, Freelance Researcher, and Graduate Assistant in Public Services at Rutgers University–New Brunswick. Additionally, Alexandra has held roles as an Assistant to the William Elliot Griffis Project at Rutgers University, a Volunteer in the Trentoniana Collection at Trenton Free Public Library, a Shop Assistant at Tomasello Winery, a Shop Assistant at Sullivan Street Tea & Spice Company, and a Grant Writer at Art Research Collaboration, Inc.

Alexandra DeAngelis pursued their undergraduate education at Columbia University from 2013 to 2016, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Art History, Criticism and Conservation. Following a brief hiatus, they resumed their academic journey in 2018 at Rutgers University, where they obtained a Master of Library & Information Science (MLIS) degree. The field of study during their master's program is unspecified.
