Makenzie Friend

Makenzie Friend is an undergraduate student at Mercer University, pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Public Health and Chemical Commerce, expected to graduate in May 2025. Currently, Makenzie serves as an Undergraduate Research Assistant and Undergraduate Researcher at Mercer University since January 2023 and is also a Public Health Advocate Intern with the Georgia Campaign for Adolescent Power & Potential since August 2022. Previous experience includes an internship as a FFPE Clinical Data Intern at Discovery Life Sciences from June to July 2023 and an Assistant Project Manager role at PROJECTXYZ, Inc. from June to August 2021. Makenzie also holds a Medical/Clinical Assistant certification from Calhoun Community College and earned a high school diploma from Mae Jemison High School in 2021.
