Shannon Whitfield

Shannon Whitfield currently serves as the Associate Director of Operations in Student Financial Planning at Mercer University, a position held since September 2015. Responsibilities include processing campus withdrawals in compliance with federal and state regulations, collaborating with the Registrar’s and Bursar's Office, and maintaining knowledge of federal regulation changes. Prior experience includes roles at Enterprise Rent-A-Car as a Sales Management Trainee, where Shannon was responsible for marketing, customer relations, and sales management, and at GEICO as a Bodily Injury Adjuster and Liability Claims Adjuster, developing skills in negotiation, claims management, and customer service. Shannon holds a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration and Management from the University of West Georgia and an Associate's degree from Abraham Baldwin Agricultural College.
