Ellie Duwel

Ellie Duwel is a dedicated and experienced individual currently serving as an Initiate Advisor for Phi Sigma Pi National Honor Fraternity, facilitating the onboarding process for new members through organized events and weekly meetings. In addition to this role, Ellie holds positions as an Undergraduate Research Assistant at the UNC Institute for Global Health & Infectious Diseases, where support is provided for domestic and global initiatives, and as an Undergraduate Learning Assistant at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, assisting with the first-year Data Literacy Lab. Previous experience includes lifeguarding with SwimSafe Pool Management, where safety and first aid certifications were maintained, as well as aiding in the production and distribution of masks during the COVID-19 pandemic as an Independent Contractor for One Up Bands. Educationally, Ellie is pursuing a dual degree in Public Health and Health Policy and Management, along with a focus on French, at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, with supplementary studies at Université Paul Valéry - Montpellier III.
