They began their career as a Benefits Analyst at CarMax from 2009 to 2013, where they focused on health plan analytics and benefits vendor management. Since 2013, they have held the position of Principal at Mercer, advising large employers on health benefit strategy, legislative analysis, and project management. Jim earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Finance from the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater, where they studied from 1979 to 1982.
