Jorge Garza

Jorge Marcos Garza is a seasoned professional in the fields of risk management and fraud prevention, currently serving as an Advisory Board Member at the Merchant Risk Council since July 2023. As the Senior Manager of Global Risk Operations at adidas since September 2021, Jorge oversees risk strategies at a global level. Previous roles include serving as a Fraud Prevention Strategy Manager at LexisNexis Risk Solutions and Emailage, where responsibilities involved managing customer engagement models across multiple regions. Jorge also held the position of Head of Fraud and Gateway Global at Cabify, leading fraud prevention initiatives and cross-functional teams. Earlier in the career, Jorge gained significant experience at Lenovo as the North America Credit and Credit Card Ops Manager, and held various roles at Hewlett-Packard, Softtek, and British American Tobacco, showcasing expertise in project management and technology implementation. Jorge holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Information Technology from the Universidad de Monterrey.
