Hope Crifo, CFA has a diverse work experience in the finance industry. Hope started their career as a Securities Analyst at Value Line in 1980, where they covered telecommunications, utilities, grocery, and machine tool industries. Hope then worked as a Senior Analyst at 13 D Research, Inc., where they prepared investment recommendations on securities in workout and Chapter XI. After that, they joined KDP Investment Advisors as a Sr. Vice President, specializing in investment analysis and recommendations on investment-grade and high yield bonds.
In 2005, Hope joined TD Bank as an Officer in Commercial Lending. Hope worked there until 2012. Hope then moved to Merchants Bank, where they held the position of Vice President, serving cities, towns, schools, fire and water districts, and related entities. Hope continued their role as a Vice President at Community Bank, N.A., which acquired Merchants Bank. Their primary objective in both roles was to provide tailored service and loan products to meet the financing needs of municipalities and school districts.
Hope Crifo, CFA pursued a Professional Certificate in Accounting with a focus on Governmental Accounting from Champlain College. Prior to that, they obtained a BA in Political Science and Economics from Hunter College. To further enhance their knowledge in Economics, they pursued an MA degree from Yonsei University.
