Karyn Clevenger

Karyn Clevenger has a diverse work experience in the banking and financial industry. Karyn most recently worked as the VP Systems Administration and Product Development at Merchants Bank of Indiana since June 2019. Prior to that, they held the role of Warehouse Loan Processor at the same company from June 2015 to August 2016. From 2012 to 2015, they worked at Elements Financial as a Loan Origination System Administrator, where they developed and supported Consumer Lending LOS (Velocity), performed upgrades, and mapped loan documents. Their extensive experience also includes roles at Eli Lilly Federal Credit Union, where they worked from 1995 to 2012. During their time there, they served as a Real Estate Quality Control II, Home Equity Loan Manager, and Mortgage Loan Closing/Servicer, performing various tasks related to loan compliance, customer service, loan processing, underwriting, closing, funding, and escrow account management. Karyn started their career at Inland Mortgage Corporation in 1988 as a Correspondent Lending specialist, ensuring loan eligibility for sale to FNMA and FHLMC. Overall, Karyn has a strong background in mortgage banking and loan origination with expertise in systems administration, loan processing, compliance, and customer service.

Karyn Clevenger completed their General education at Union County High School from 1981 to 1984. Karyn then pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance and Financial Management Services from Ball State University's Miller College of Business, where they studied from 1984 to 1988. In addition to their formal education, Karyn also obtained the Indiana Notary Public certification in February 1996.
