Kevin Byers

Kevin Byers is an experienced professional in the surety industry, currently serving as a Territory Manager and Senior Underwriter at Merchants Bonding Company since September 2021. Prior to this role, Kevin held multiple positions at Zurich North America from July 2013 to January 2020, including Surety Account Executive, Surety Underwriting Specialist, and Surety Underwriting Associate. Kevin's career began in the hospitality sector at Kimo's Restaurant as Front of House Staff in 2012. Kevin holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Economics and Applied Mathematics from the University of the Pacific, obtained between 2008 and 2012, and is a graduate of Bellarmine Preparatory School in Tacoma, WA.
