Evan Gibson

Mr. Gibson oversees the Capital Markets team at Merchants Capital. His focus is on building out Merchants Asset Management LLC, a New York-based Registered Investment Advisor that raises private equity from institutional and family office clients to purchase commercial real estate debt and securities. Prior to joining Merchants in February of 2020, Mr. Gibson served as the head of direct lending for a top HUD lender and was a CMBS bond trader and market maker at Bank of America Merrill Lynch. Mr. Gibson is a veteran of the United States Marine Corps serving as a Reconnaissance Marine and Scout Sniper. He holds a bachelor’s degree in Mathematics from the University of Washington.
