Mark Thompson is a seasoned insurance professional with extensive experience in underwriting and management roles. Currently serving as Senior Manager Corporate Underwriting at Merchants Insurance Group since June 2016, Mark oversees the Staff Underwriting department, Premium Audit department, and corporate Loss Control. Prior to this, Mark held various positions at The Hanover Insurance Group, where responsibilities included Regional Underwriting Manager and Commercial Lines Underwriting Manager, achieving significant growth in the Small Commercial program. Mark's earlier roles include Affinity Group Manager at OneBeacon Insurance, Underwriting Specialist at Royal & Sunalliance, and Territorial Underwriter at Fireman's Fund Insurance Company. Mark's educational background includes a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Buffalo State University.
