David Thomas

David Thomas has a diverse work experience in the banking and finance industry. David currently holds the position of Vice President at Merchants & Marine Bank (M&M Bank) since May 2018. Prior to that, they served as a Regional Manager at Woodforest National Bank from July 2017 to May 2018. From August 2016 to August 2017, they worked as a Senior Market Manager at LifeWay Christian Resources. Before that, David held the role of Senior Vice President, Retail Division Manager at Hancock Whitney from February 2000 to May 2016. David also worked as a Retail Area Manager, VP at Magnolia Federal Bank/Union Planters from August 1990 to February 2000. Earlier in their career, they served as a District Manager at Landmark Finance/First Family Finance from May 1981 to August 1990.

David Thomas attended the Graduate School of Banking at LSU from 2009 to 2011, where they obtained a degree in LSU Graduate School of Banking. Additionally, they pursued Business, Management, Marketing, and Related Support Services at Liberty University. David also completed an Advance Management School program at Marquette University and studied Finance and Financial Management Services at Mississippi State University. Lastly, they earned a Bachelor of Christian Ministries from Southeastern Baptist College.
