Matthew Winters has a long and varied work experience. Matthew began their career in 2006 as a Software Developer at Marquis Software Development, where they were responsible for programming modifications and debugging system reports using VB.Net and ActiveReports and interfaces using XML. Matthew also worked as a Web Developer at The UPS Store #4263 & #6133. In 2008, they became a Software Engineer at Servinity.com, where they engineered solutions and implemented them with a combination of PL/SQL, HTML, JavaScript, and CSS in an Oracle APEX environment. Matthew then moved on to Lead Developer at SeatSnack in 2009, where they were responsible for developing and deploying desktop and mobile phone solutions in Ruby on Rails with MySQL. Matthew also volunteered as a Software Engineer at TechBridge, Inc., where they used ASP.Net (with C#), HTML, CSS, and JavaScript for creating the new Covenant House of Georgia website and improving the Lettie Pate Whitehead Foundation's online scholarship reporting tool. In the same year, they became the Director of Technology at Court Solutions, where they were solely responsible for full stack (ASP. NET/ VB. NET, MSSQL 2005/2008/2012, HTML4/5, CSS3, Javascript, jQuery, AJAX, XML) architecture, design, development, and implementation. Finally, they worked at MerchLogix from 2016 onwards, in roles such as Senior Engineering Manager, Middleware Manager, Middleware Supervisor, and Middleware Engineer.
Matthew Winters attended Leon High School from 1996 to 2000, earning their high school diploma. Matthew then attended Georgia Institute of Technology from 2000 to 2005, earning a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science.
