Anne-Sophie de Preux Charles

Anne-Sophie de Preux Charles has extensive experience in the field of quality assurance and manufacturing science, currently serving as an associate manager in Manufacturing Science and Technology at Merck Group since April 2020, after previous roles including associate quality assurance manager and team lead for quality assurance engineering. Prior experience at Merck Group also includes leading quality assurance teams and serving as a specialist. A senior researcher at the University of Fribourg from June 2013 to August 2016, responsibilities encompassed autonomous project management and student supervision. Earlier academic pursuits included postdoctoral research at UCSF and the University of Lausanne, focusing on visual system development in zebrafish and diabetic peripheral neuropathy, respectively. Anne-Sophie holds a CAS in pharmaceuticals from ETH Zürich, a PhD in neuroscience, and an MSc in biology from the University of Lausanne, alongside a scientific maturity from College de l'Abbaye de St-Maurice.
