Balazs Bordas

Balazs Bordas is currently the Head of Process Modelling & Design Formulations at Merck Group, a position held since May 2019, alongside an Industrial PhD focused on machine learning for data-based process optimization and control in the fine chemical industry. Previously, Balazs served as the Digital Twin Implementation Lead during an internship, specializing in multivariate data analysis and statistical process control. Balazs gained early experience as an intern at MOL Group in mid-2016. Academic qualifications include a Master of Science in Process Systems Engineering from TU Dortmund University (2017-2020) and a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering from Budapest University of Technology and Economics (2013-2017).
