Barbara Poinard

Barbara Poinard is an experienced professional currently serving as the APAC Commercial Business Planning Manager for Process Solutions at Merck Group since January 2021, where Barbara also held the position of Associate in Inhouse Consulting. Key projects include market research for fertility portfolio drugs, the development of frameworks for APAC BioProcessing accounts, and strategic growth plans for the Fertility and Research solutions businesses in Australia and Japan. Prior experience includes roles at EVX Ventures focusing on biotech venture building and due diligence, and entrepreneurial work with Entrepreneur First. Barbara's academic background includes a PhD in Biomedical/Medical Engineering from the National University of Singapore, along with multiple degrees in biomedical engineering and related fields from prestigious institutions.
