Chetak Buaria

Chetak Buaria has extensive experience in the pharmaceutical and biotechnology sectors, notably serving as Vice President of Global Commercial Operations for Oncology at Merck Group from June 2007 to November 2021. In this role, Chetak focused on driving growth and performance across oncology brands and regions. Chetak held multiple leadership positions at Merck, including Global Head of Customer Engagement & Channel Evolution, where a global team was guided in deploying omnichannel solutions, and Global Head of Commercial Excellence, responsible for implementing CRM and digital solutions for enhanced field force effectiveness. Prior to Merck, Chetak worked at Mehta Partners as Director and BU Head of Investment Advisory Services for the Asia Pacific and held various positions at Alembic Pharmaceuticals Limited, including BU Head and Marketing Manager. Chetak holds a Master of Pharmacy in Pharmaceutics from L.M. College Of Pharmacy and a PGDPM in Management from IES Management College and Research Centre.
