Daniele la Cognata

Daniele La Cognata is an experienced legal professional with a robust background in compliance and data privacy. Currently serving as the Head of Legal, Compliance, and Data Privacy for the MEAR region at Merck Group since March 2018, Daniele also holds the position of Head of Legal for Intercontinental and Central Eastern Europe. Daniele has been with GSK Vaccines S.r.l. as Director Assistant General Counsel since September 2015. Previously, Daniele led Legal and Compliance efforts for Novartis Vaccines and Diagnostics from October 2013 to September 2015 and held the position of Director of Legal at MSD Italia from May 2010 to September 2013. Daniele began the career as a Senior Associate in the Litigation Department at Hogan Lovells from September 2007 to May 2010. Educational background includes a degree from Sapienza Università di Roma, where studies took place from 1993 to 2000.
