Gianluca Rinaldi

Gianluca Rinaldi has extensive experience in parenteral drug product development, holding various leadership roles at Merck Group since 2007, including Associate Director and Head of Parenteral Drug Product Development and Life Cycle Management. Responsibilities encompass formulation and process development, technology transfer, and regulatory support for biopharmaceuticals, biosimilars, and new chemical entities (NCEs). Prior roles include Senior Manager overseeing process development and validation, Laboratory Manager focused on formulation studies, and Specialist Scientist coordinating drug product development activities. Gianluca's career began as a Junior Researcher at Industria Farmaceutica Serono and included a stint at Patheon in GMP manufacturing. Gianluca holds a Laurea in Chimica Industriale from Sapienza Università di Roma.
