Hannes Hochreiner

Hannes Hochreiner has extensive experience in engineering and data solutions within the healthcare and R&D sectors, currently serving as Head of Engineering - Healthcare Digital, Data & IT R&D Data & AI Solutions at Merck Group since November 2016. Prior to this role, Hannes held various positions at Merck KGaA, including Senior Business Analyst and Systems Analyst and Consultant, where responsibilities included designing and implementing laboratory automation systems, developing custom interfaces, and managing applications in GMP and non-GMP environments. Hannes has a PhD in Chemistry from Dalhousie University, and has also contributed to research and education as a Teaching Assistant and Research Assistant. Academic qualifications also include degrees from Universidad de Oviedo, Technische Universität Wien, and the University of Plymouth.
