Keir Woods

Keir Woods possesses extensive experience in the pharmaceutical industry, currently holding the position of VP Head of Global Market Access and Pricing for Oncology at Merck Group since April 2015. In this role, Keir oversees the global oncology business in international markets, focusing on both marketed brands and the commercial development of the oncology pipeline. Previous roles at Merck include VP & Regional Franchise Lead and Deputy Leader of the Oncology Global Business Franchise. Prior to Merck, Keir served as Managing Director for Merck Netherlands and interim Managing Director for Merck Sweden, as well as Oncology BU Head for the UK and Ireland. Keir’s earlier experience includes a tenure at GlaxoSmithKline as Director of Oncology and over eight years at Pfizer Pharmaceuticals in various leadership roles related to oncology and antifungals. Academic qualifications include an MSc in Health Economics and Health Policy from The London School of Economics and a BA in Politics from the University of Leeds.
