Marco Sauerwein

Marco Sauerwein has extensive experience in sales leadership within the chemicals and semiconductor sectors. Since January 2019, Marco has served as the Head of Global Sales for Patterning Solutions at Merck Gruppe, focusing on key accounts in the semiconductor business. Previously, from January 2014, Marco held the position of Global Head of Sales Leading Edge at Merck KGaA, and was the Global Head of Sales Regions, Director. Marco's earlier roles included heading sales for Northern Europe and leading an international sales team at CHT R. Beitlich GmbH, specializing in performance chemicals. Marco also held various sales management positions at Evonik, overseeing several regions including Germany, Switzerland, Austria, and parts of Africa and the Near East. Marco began the professional journey as a Trainee Sales Manager at Degussa AG after working as a Marketing Assistant. Marco holds a degree in Business Administration from the Verwaltungs- u. Wirtschaftsakademie in Frankfurt am Main.
