Adam Goetz is currently a Principal Scientist in Small Molecule Process R&D at Merck. They earned a Ph.D. in Organic Chemistry from UCLA, where they developed methods to modulate regioselectivity and completed the total synthesis of tubingensin A. Previously, Adam was a Postdoctoral Associate at the University of Washington, working on metal-free polymerization methods and 3D-printing high-performance polymers. Their early experience includes roles at Segetis Inc. and Pfizer, where they served in various positions including Principal Scientist and Senior Manager. Adam holds a B.A. in Chemistry from Carleton College.
