Atul Agarwal

Atul Agarwal is a seasoned professional in the field of computational and medicinal chemistry, currently serving as Senior Director of Regulatory Affairs - CMC at Merck since December 2018, where responsibilities include automation and overseeing the Project Management Office for CMC. Prior experience includes serving as Senior Director at Enko Chem, focusing on Computational Chemistry and Informatics, and holding the position of Executive Director at Achillion Pharmaceuticals, where contributions included the discovery of first-in-class complement factor D inhibitors and HCV inhibitors, leading to multiple clinical candidates. At Wyeth Pharmaceuticals, Agarwal represented computational chemistry in oncology and infectious diseases programs, contributing to the design and optimization of various drug candidates.
