Bala Sreenivasan

Bala Sreenivasan is a seasoned executive in supply chain management with over two decades of experience, currently serving as Senior Vice President at Merck. In this role, Bala leads supply chain and value chain management, focusing on digital transformation and product supply network strategies. Previous positions at Merck include Vice President and Associate Vice President, where Bala oversaw global supply chain operations and enhanced vaccine supply strategy on a worldwide scale. Prior experience includes senior roles at Schering-Plough and engineering positions at Corning Incorporated and Invertix Corporation. Bala holds a Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering from Southern Illinois University, an Executive Education from Harvard Business School, and a Bachelor's degree in Electronics and Communication Engineering from University of Madras. Additionally, Bala chairs the Diversity and Inclusion council for Merck's Manufacturing Division and leads a global organization of over 700 employees.
