Ed Sherer

Ed Sherer has extensive experience in the field of chemistry, particularly in computational chemistry and molecular dynamics. As a Fulbright Fellow in the United Kingdom, Ed conducted research on nucleic acids. Subsequently, at Rib-X Pharmaceuticals, Ed contributed to antibiotic design through computational methods. At Merck, Ed held various senior roles, including Associate Principal Scientist, Senior Research Chemist, and Principal Scientist, specializing in Digital Sciences and NMR Structure Elucidation. Ed's academic background includes a PhD in Chemistry from the University of Minnesota, earned between 1998 and 2001.
