Edina Avdic

Edina Avdic is an accomplished professional in the field of pharmacy and regulatory affairs, currently serving as Associate Director of Regulatory Affairs-Global Labeling at Merck since August 2022. Prior to this role, Edina worked as Clinical Pharmacy Manager at MercyOne from November 2020 to May 2022. At The Johns Hopkins University, from January 2015 to November 2020, Edina was a Pharmacology Editor for the POC-IT ABX and HIV Guide. Edina’s experience at Johns Hopkins Hospital spanned over 15 years, where roles included Program Director for the Infectious Diseases Pharmacy Specialty Residency and Associate Director of the Antimicrobial Stewardship Program, alongside serving as an Infectious Diseases Clinical Pharmacy Specialist. Earlier training included a pharmacy residency at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania from July 2003 to June 2005. Edina holds both a Master of Business Administration and a Doctor of Pharmacy degree from Drake University, completed between 1997 and 2003.
