Heidi Ferguson

Associate Principal Scientist, Preclinical Development at Merck

Heidi Ferguson is an Associate Principal Scientist in Preclinical Development at Merck, a position held since September 2012, following advancement from a Senior Scientist role. Prior to joining Merck, Heidi served as a Ph.D. student at the University of California, Berkeley, from August 2007 to August 2012. Heidi's early research experience includes working as a researcher at the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse under Professor Robert McGaff, focusing on the design of novel chiral metal-organic complexes from May 2004 to May 2007. Educational qualifications include a Doctor of Philosophy in Chemistry from the University of California, Berkeley, obtained in 2012, and a Bachelor's Degree in Chemistry from the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse, completed in 2007.
