Janine May is currently serving as the Director of Enterprise Strategy at Merck since March 2023. Prior to this role, Janine held various positions at Takeda, including Director of Portfolio and Pipeline Insights and Associate Director of Pipeline Insights within Global Portfolio Strategy from October 2020 to March 2023. Janine also worked at the Boston Consulting Group as a Project Leader and Consultant from August 2017 to October 2020. Additionally, Janine was a Teaching Fellow and Graduate Student Researcher at Harvard University from August 2010 to May 2017, focusing on bacterial biology to promote the development of new antibiotics. Janine earned a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Chemistry and Chemical Biology from Harvard University in 2016 and a Bachelor of Science (BS) with Honors in Chemistry from Stanford University in 2010.
