Jason Schafer is currently the Director of HIV Global Scientific Training at Merck. Previously, they served in various academic roles at Thomas Jefferson University, including Assistant Professor, Associate Professor, and Professor and Vice Chair, from 2009 to 2014. They also worked as a Clinical Pharmacy Specialist in Infectious Diseases at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center, St. Margaret Hospital, from 2006 to 2009, and completed pharmacy residencies at Mercy Hospital of Pittsburgh and The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center. Jason earned a Master of Public Health from Thomas Jefferson University in 2013 and a Doctor of Pharmacy from Duquesne University in 2004.
