Jayesh Sonje

Jayesh Sonje is a Ph.D. candidate in pharmaceutics at the University of Minnesota, specializing in the formulation and development of sterile injectable dosage forms. Currently, Jayesh's research focuses on the role of excipient phase behavior in frozen and lyophilized formulations and its impact on protein stability. With diverse experience at companies such as Pfizer and Merck, Jayesh has held roles including Senior Scientist and Assistant Scientist in formulation R&D, contributing to the development of generic parenteral products and conducting vital research in drug product development protocols. Jayesh also holds a Master's degree in Medicinal and Pharmaceutical Chemistry from the New Jersey Institute of Technology and a Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy from Bharti Vidyapeeth College of Pharmacy.
