Jin-Hee Han

Jin-Hee Han is an Associate Principal Scientist at Merck, with a career spanning various significant research roles, including Senior Scientist at the same company and Postdoctoral Researcher at the US Army Medical Research Institute of Infectious Diseases. Jin-Hee's expertise includes the development of nanoparticle-assembled photonic crystal arrays for detecting various viruses and diseases, as well as advanced systems for particle entrapment and bacteriophage quantification. Educationally, Jin-Hee holds a Doctor of Philosophy in Biosensor from the University of Arizona and a B.S. and M.S. in Agricultural Engineering from Seoul National University. Teaching experience includes guest instructing and leading courses at UC Davis and the University of Arizona in the areas of nanomechanics and microcomputing.
