Mitch Keylor is an accomplished chemist with a strong academic and professional background in organic chemistry and method development. Currently serving as an Associate Principal Scientist at Merck since January 2018, Mitch has previously held positions as a Senior Scientist at the same company and as a Post-Doctoral Scholar at Novartis, where catalytic methods development was a focus. Mitch completed a PhD at the University of Michigan, developing a modular approach to synthesize resveratrol-derived natural products. Earlier experiences include a Graduate Teaching Fellow and Research Assistant at Boston University, and various teaching and research roles at Stonehill College and UC San Diego, where we worked on projects related to complex molecule synthesis and nucleic acid dynamics. Mitch holds an M.A. in Chemistry from Boston University and a B.S. in Biochemistry from Stonehill College.
