Zach Brill

Zach Brill is currently an Associate Principal Scientist at Merck, where they focus on discovery chemistry. Previously, Zach served as a Senior Scientist at Merck and was a Graduate Student Instructor at UC Berkeley, teaching various organic chemistry courses. They earned a Ph.D. in Organic Chemistry from UC Berkeley and a Bachelor's degree in Chemistry from Columbia University, where they also conducted undergraduate research in the Snyder Group. Zach's research experience includes developing efficient strategies for the total synthesis of biologically active compounds and mentoring students in research techniques.
