Lucas Avila's work experience includes a role as a Product Designer at Mercos and as a Nuviner at nuvini, both starting in 2022. Prior to this, they had an internship as a UX Designer at Proxys Group from June 2021 to December 2021. During this internship, they worked on strategic activities, interface creation, and improvement, as well as the creation of a style guide and maintenance of a design system. Lucas gained experience in the e-commerce universe and visual design. Before that, they worked as a UX Designer intern at Absolutier from July 2020 to February 2021, focusing on mapping business and user needs and delivering interfaces for a teaching and learning platform.
Lucas Avila attended the Universidade Federal de Mato Grosso do Sul from 2018 to 2021, where they earned a Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering. In addition to their academic education, Lucas also obtained various certifications in the field of User Experience (UX) and related areas. Lucas received a certificate in "Fundamentos de UX" from Product Arena in April 2022. Prior to that, they completed a User Experience certification program at FIAP in April 2021. Lucas also obtained certifications in "Introduction to User Experience Principles and Processes" from the University of Michigan in October 2020, "UX / UI: Fundamentos para o design de interface" from Universidade de São Paulo in September 2020, and "Human-Centered Design 201: Prototyping" from IDEO.org in August 2020. Additionally, Lucas holds a Scrum Foundation Professional Certificate (SFPC) from CertiProf, which they obtained in August 2020.
