Bill McGrath

Bill McGrath is a highly experienced professional with a robust background in the energy sector. Currently serving as Managing Director at Mercuria since July 2023, McGrath previously held various senior roles at Shell from August 1989 to December 2022, including General Manager for Global Environmental Products and CO2 Trading, as well as Senior Vice President positions in Central and Marketing, Strategy and Analysis (MSA). Earlier in McGrath's career, a tenure as Refinery Economist at both Shell and Shell Refining Australia Pty, Ltd from July 1993 to March 1995 provided solid foundational expertise. Educationally, McGrath earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical Engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology between January 1985 and January 1989.
