David Meuwsen

David Meuwsen has extensive experience in the energy trading industry. David started their career at TOTSA TOTAL OIL TRADING SA in 2001 as a Product trading operator and later took on the role of middle distillates blender. In 2006, they joined Mercuria Energy Trading S.A. where they worked as a Middle distillate blender and Trading operations expert. David then became a Biodiesel trader, managing global activities with arbitrage flows and storage and blending activities. David is currently serving as an Investment Director at Mercuria Energy Trading S.A. Overall, David has a strong background in handling refined oil products, managing risk, and navigating legislative and political implications in the energy trading sector.

David Meuwsen attended Atheneum Voskenslaan Gent from 1989 to 1995. David then went on to pursue a degree in Commercial engineering at Vrije Universiteit Brussel from 1995 to 2000.
