Hawa Sy

Hawa SY has a strong background in the energy trading industry. Hawa began their career in 2016 as an IT/ Risk Management intern at Axiom Alternative Investments. In 2017, they gained experience as a Trading Support Engineer/VBA Developer during an internship at EDF. Following this, Hawa joined Qim info SA in 2018 as a Market Data Engineer for TOTSA Total Oil Trading SA. Most recently, they worked at Mercuria Energy Trading S.A. where they started as a Price Analyst in 2019 and eventually became the Head of Pricing Support in April 2022.

Hawa SY attended ESILV - Ecole Supérieure d'Ingénieurs Léonard de Vinci from 2014 to 2017, where they obtained a degree in Financial Engineering specialized in the financial market. Prior to that, from 2013 to 2014, they attended Lycée Condorcet where they completed a preparatory class focusing on Physics and Chemistry. Before that, from 2012 to 2013, they attended Lycée Claude Bernard, also completing a preparatory class with a focus on Physics and Chemistry. In addition to their formal education, in May 2015, Hawa SY obtained the Bloomberg Essentials (BESS) Online Training certification.
